Thank You.
by: Robert J. Shelley ©2004
Two words, "Thank you," spoken in sincerity are often negated by the assumed reflex of mannerism. Allow me to say "Thank you" with unnegated sincerity. You are the one that stops the clock when all others haven't got the time.
In your eyes, in your smile, an Angel of Mercy glows brightly in every act of compassion and caring you dispense from your heart. You light up an otherwise dismal existence. You shine day and night. This world needs you and more real people like you. Is it too bad you're one of a kind, or is it supremely excellent that you are one of a kind?
I would say both are true, appreciating greatness without observing mediocracy and/or people "born to lose" enhances your distinction and the greatness that flows from your giving heart each day.
True to your oath and each person you care for, we are aware, those who overlook the quality of your innate humanity, well, they are born to lose, losing what is truly our gift of your life, our gift of everything that is you, and every sincere act of humanity and compassion flowing from you.
"Thank you," two words with the understanding and integrity of solid heart behind them, words of real meaning.
Wishing the best for you and yours always
