(Dedicated To: Michelle Mixon Love: Anthony Mixon)

by: Anthony T. Mixon

Magic became words as I soul searched our past you use to kick my ass
That's when it hit me... I dun saved the best for last
I use to threatened you about getting bigga
That day has come but I've replaced the grudge wit loving you nigga
Things I can't explain I'm thinking of a way to show ya
But I do know my sista's a soldja
Ambitious of a hero take you in thought where ever I go
My world was cold & dark but you brought heat & light fasho'
Neva left me, circumstances that could divide a family
Close ties wit my sista who sacrifice to be near me
Things get rough, we sweep nonsense unda the rug
I neva worry bout a man takin my sista's love
You lost a son, but he was like my brotha, Damn I miss'm
Your pain was mine tears surfaced, turned my back on forgiven
Embrace the past heal wit memories the hurtin subside
You birthed a 3rd child the first one's still apart of our lives
Your road to womanhood's my witness, I've seen your struggle
Shedded relationship that didn't fit the depths of ya soul
Been like a motha to ya brotha now that sh** got thick
Kept me from thinking less of self, I swear, I'll kill for you sis
There's a time for cry'n & laughter, I'll be ya shoulda
I look beneath the flesh, in my Theory? Your soul's a wonda
Comfort the deepest confines of a friend
I'd put a ring on ya left hand but I'm gone be ya brotha till the end
Sometimes I need a dose of love when all my money is spent
My sister accepts collect calls, lends an ear to my vent
If you're an Outkast, a Blacksheep, I'll roll wit the flock an
Truism's pourin out again & my sista's the topic
Hold hands, jump over puddles, we gone weather our storms
You a blessin teachin family members how to be strong
I've neva known you to settle for less, unspoken beauty wit finesse
Undie'n love for my sista that'll conquer death.
