Winds of Change
by: William Lawson
Raindrops are running
down my barred window pane,
washing away dirt
that the past brought in shame.
For today I hold onto
a letter from you,
it lifts out my spirit,
no longer am I blue.
In your friendship there's love,
your wanting to care,
to hold another, & in life
to share.
The storm's now waning,
as it promises to show,
through your words sent in kindness...
a most wondrous rainbow.
