SEARCHING
by: John L. Edgar

Where are you lover, I'm waiting.
My heart is oh so tired,
Of the search for that "special someone",
To set my soul on fire.

Many have come to taste the wine,
And left my lips so cold.
No feelings stirred, within me,
No hope for my heart to hold.

I know, the search is not for naught,
Your longing for me too.
I grope within the darkness,
Trying to find my way to you.

Then knowing... We have found each other,
And romance has begun.
Like two burning candles,
We will warmly melt, into one.

The search will be no longer,
Each other is all we'll need.
Together as friends and lovers,
To true love we'll hold the key.
