Appealing To The People

My name is Jesse. By placing this ad I hope it creates public awareness to my fight for freedom. I should be victorious by now, yet many judges don't uphold the Constitution. They outright ignore it.
I lost my first appeal and have a few left, however I want to now appeal to you, the people reading this, because it's you the people whom have the power to voice injustice me and many others experience every day.
I'm incarcerated for a self-defense shooting, yet was not allowed an instruction, despite an armed robber with a gun on me. That's an issue on appeal, but again, I want to appeal to you, the people. Every citizen has these awesome rights, but it takes a high priced lawyer if you want a judge to recognize them. Without such a lawyer, many such as I, get their rights trampled over and justified as harmless error. Such injustifications have led our nation to become the world's leader in prison populations. Even the innocent are convicted at staggering rates; read Actual Innocence by Bary Scheck, it's unbelievable.
The right to a fair trial use to be a quest for the truth. It has lately become a game of anything goes for a conviction; where police and prosecutors lie to juries to obtain a guilty verdict. I have 1,300 pages of transcripts to prove that fact, yet not a judge or lawyer to notice it. Again, I appeal to the people, and ask you to notice it, and to notice that the more and more, a citizen's rights are violated and ignored, the more and more we as a people fail to safeguard the privilege it is to have rights.
