Hello, my name is Carlos, and being in prison for a crime you did not commit not only sucks, but it affects your loved ones and friends that love and support you also.

I am not only claiming to be innocent, I have actual legal documents and transcripts to support my claim. Please give me a chance to brief you a little... Right now I am in a situation where I don't have a lot of money or resources needed to sustain my claim in the California Court System. I have very little experience with the law, but I do know enough to understand the court system and how it works more or less... And what needs to be done in my situation.

My purpose for placing this ad is to hopefully find someone who is an advocate for human & prisoner's rights, and is willing to look over my case and help me in the right direction improving my innocence to the courts. I am not looking for any easy ride. If I have to do all the writing/typing or filing of any documents or briefs myself, then I am prepared to do so. Proving my innocence is worth that struggle, and I am committed to that struggle.

I have enclosed some very important facts of my case, unfortunately because of the five page legal document limit of this web I cannot enclose any documents that would make sense to you, but for those that are interested in any way I will share "ANY" documents you wish to see.

"Facts"

1.) During the investigation phase of my case, before my arrest, the Police apprehended a suspect fleeing the crime area, an eye witness identified this suspect as possibly being involved in the crime... The witness was right, the suspect confessed to knowing the shooter and being an accomplice. I in no way know this person period. And not to mention he stated in a recorded confession that I have in my possession... As to who was the shooter and it was not me he mentioned... In fact he stated he did not know me... I would like to stress that this confession was never presented to the Jury... Why, is the question I ask myself.

2.) At the time of the trial, I had and alibi that could of verified my actual innocence of the alleged crime. My trial Attorney failed to interview this alibi at all. To this day she can & will still verify in being with her at the time of the crime.

3.) At trial, my Attorney once again failed to investigate the testimony of the District Attorney's soul star witness, who for one; was a crack/heroin addict, who confessed to being high at the time he supposedly overheard a conversation between myself and two other people, and two; it can be proven by pictures or with an expert analysis (or just basic common sense) that the testimony of the witness is "Physically Impossible", and can in no way be true.

I have many more facts to support my innocence. Like I said, I have a basic idea of the law and how it works, but when it comes to putting briefs together I'm a "Layman", and I am also on the Federal "A.E.D.P.A" timeline, so I have no time to spare by making mistakes. All support or poiters would be appreciated.

I have a beautiful family that loves and misses me, and I love and miss them a lot more. If I were guilty of this crime, I would be a man and accept my fate behind bars, but I am innocent, and I will fight to prove my innocence... Will you please help me???
