Hi, my name is Emmitt Sonny Robinson. Thank you in advance for taking interest and the time to read about my case.
I have been incarcerated here at Lapeer, Michigan since being found guilty on January 31, 1990, for the attempted murder of Lair Stacy. I was sentenced to serve from 30 to 50 years. My ground of appeal are based on the jury for not being provided with all the facts. The prosecutor lied to the jury and intentionally withheld medical records from their presence. I requested the medical records to be shown the jury. My attorney Barbara Menear (P31608) refused my request. If the medical records had been presented to the jury, there most certainly would of been a different verdict, in light of Lair Stacy, not being shot by me, or anybody else.
I am looking for someone to review my case and obtain the medical records which will prove that there was no shooting as stated by the prosecutor, on record, to the jury. This new found evidence is the foundation of my appeal.
I have exhausted all my appeal rights. My only way back into the court is through this new found evidence. This new found evidence is by obtained by securing the medical records of the alledged victim, Lair Stacy. Once the new found evidence is introduced into the court, we will be able to raise other issues.
