I like reading and writing poems. I am a very positive individual cause in here there is a lot of hatred and negativity. And, if I feed into it, I will only attract more of it to myself because I believe that whatever I invest my time, energy, focus and attention, I will bring more into my life.

I read to try to keep my mind right and gain knowledge that will help me in life. I read psychology, philosophy, self-help, spiritual, about African American leaders and that is basically it unless I am bored and have nothing else to read. I also write poems from time to time. I like writing poems cause I can escape momentarily and get lost in my writing. I am a very emotional person so I integrate my thoughts, feelings and emotions into my poems.

As you can imagine, I have a lot on my mind and writing is my outlet. I can get things off my mind and onto paper. It is also a way for me to open up cause if I hold it in, it will eventually get to me and bring me down or break my mind, which is set on elevation and prosperity.
