My name is Charles, my nickname that friends call me is STYLZ and I'm so glad that my photo has caused you enough curiosity to stop and review my personal ad. Thank you so much because if you had not stopped to read and just kept going... I was going to scream!!! (laughing) Here, let me tell you why...

I've spent countless hours preparing numerous ads not to mention hundreds of dollars with several other pen-pal companies and have never received a single response! (sigh) I said to myself "This is the very last one that I will join." If I don't receive any response... I'm trashing my pen and give up on my search & on my quest for love/romance/friendship. "So I'm hoping you will be the first to write to me and give me a helping hand to find my "smile" again." Or would you rather enjoy hearing me scream out of frustration at the top of my lungs? (smile) You're laughing, well that laugh & smile sure is a positive start.

As you can see, I'm using slight humor to make the best of bad outcomes as well as these adverse conditions that I'm currently under & dealing with in this Federal System for the past (6) years --- Alone!

Briefly, I would like to tell you a little bit about myself; my likes, dis-likes and the type of person that I'm most interested in meeting and so forth. Right now I'm just to find a nice female friend to connect with and enjoy her company. First off, race is not important!!! For myself I am Multi-Rational: Dominican, Sicilian (Italian) and African American. What matters is the person themselves.

Some of the things that I've accomplished while incarcerated for the past six years have been that of furthering my education. I've taken an interest in investing money into various investment vehicles such as: Money Market Accounts, Money Market Mutual Funds, Certificates of Deposits (DC's), Savings Bonds, Treasuries, International Funds, Stocks and Bonds. Completed several courses and continue to pursue the same.

I also have become fond of reading! (smile) Before I couldn't sit still for 10 minutes to read anything. Now I read anything and everything in my reach or in my sight!! I have even subscribed to several magazines and newspapers. Furthermore, I enjoy going to Church and maintaining a solid relationship, a close intimate relationship with my God and my Creator. For if it were not for His divine protection & love for me, I wouldn't be around today nor have come this far. What a big change he's helped me make in my life. And I'm only getting better each day. Praise God! I used to be a very-very bad man! (You don't want to know the many stories).

Right now I'm reading a book called the "Diary Of A Man" by Sydney Poitier. And I'm also working on the new Harry Potter book. (smile) The boy in me just had to order this book too. (smile) Just had to find what all the hype was about and to see if and how Harry comes to his end.

Before I go any further, please know that I am very stable financially and I'm not looking for anything of a material nature.

Some of the things I enjoy doing are: Working out with weights, running, exercising daily, listening to music (R & B, Rap/Hip-Hop, some Rock and some Big Band Jazz. No country!!). My other enjoyments include cooking, swimming, going to the shore (beaches), camping out, shopping for clothes, going to concerts, sporting events, plays and shows in my hometown of New York City. Snowball fights in the wintertime, riding my motorcycles, rollerblading in the summer or skating, walks hand-in-hand through the famous Central Park. I enjoy quiet nights at home, fireplace lit with a good DVD movie and great company. I also love little puppies and kittens and exotic birds of which I own one myself. Furthermore, I just love receiving lots of letters and photos from mail call.... They are like gifts!!!

Now, some of the qualities that I'm looking for in a female and that which interest me most when meeting female friends are as follows: Honesty, openness, loyalty, integrity, being good hearted and caring. One who can truly understand my present situation and will be woman enough to support me mentally, emotionally and physically.

My dislikes are: Dishonesty, betrayal, someone who displays lack of interest towards me, immaturity, selfish, lack of respect and anyone who is non-supportive. Oh, and females with bad breath... YUK!
