My case is a blatant miscarriage of justice. I was convicted on the sole contradicting, conflicting testimony of three (3) drug addict prostitutes alone. No physical evidence at all. My court-appointed attorney sealed my doom when he took my case. He never even went to the scene of the crime (which is common practice in murder cases), he did not have nor hire an investigator, failed to interview all but one witness prior to the trial and failed to question and cross examine witnesses properly. He
showed no zeal at all during my trial. He even tried to get me to
sign a memorandum stating that I had no viable defense, that the
state's case was overwhelming even though the only evidence that
they were able to present at trial was the testimony of witnesses.
My
lawyer was incompetent; however, there are competent attorneys in
Georgia that can assist me in getting a fair trial on my motion
for new trial. But this will cost money, money that I do not have.
I
greatly appreciate any assistance that anyone may be able to offer.
