I've been locked up for a little over ten years now. A span of years filled with inner-searching and struggling. So much more of that time was spent dwelling on the past. I finally came to the realization that the past couldn't be changed. But that who I was/am could. Walls that once stood are now no more. I no longer swim in the river of deceit.

Strides have been made since my first steps within this concrete jungle. Admittedly I still have flaws. Yet who doesn't? Redemption and curiosity is what propels me now. Although ultimately I'm only human and the need to be loved leads.

Being alone is very hard. Particularly when you're surrounded by strangers. My road is still long and the thought of possibly doing another ten years alone is dreadful. So my hopes is that this ad can bring me some friends and possibly that special someone.

I enjoy reading. My favorite book and author is "The Red and The Black" by STENDHAL. A few other authors that I like are: John Irving, Alexandre Dumas, George R.R. Martin, and Anne Rice (old).

Music has always played a significant role in my life. Some of my favorite bands/artist are: Depeche Mode, Righteous Brothers, 2Pac, Deftones, Filter, Slipknot, Sade, Techmaster P.E.B., Enigma, R. Kelly, Lil' Suzy, Snap, Madonna, Garth Brooks and Type 'O' Negative.

The Renaissance, Fresco Paintings, The Monarchies, Science, Sports (especially hockey), The Paranormal and Philosophy are just a few other interests of mine. I'm into so many other things. This is just a small grain of who I am. Interested?
