Seeking Assistance

Greetings, my name is Roy Green. Thank you for your curiosity. Since you are reading my ad, you are undoubtedly concerned with justice being denied to incarcerated people. My concerns about justice was birthed during my participation in volunteer programs that promoted community values and confronted me with the detrimental impact that I and others had on our communities. A passion for justice was stoked inside of me. I became a prison law library clerk, and I used my new found passion to assist incarcerated people in various aspects of their legal matters. I developed a talent for juggling so many responsibilities, without dropping a single one, that incarcerated people told me that I missed my calling as a circus juggler! Justice for incarcerated people advocates rehabilitation, community values -- especially respect for society's laws -- and successful re-integration of incarcerated people upon release into society. In contrast, the injustice suffered by incarcerated people at the hands of corrections employees, and the indifference demonstrated by governmental entities regarding that injustice, interdicts society's goals and objectives of rehabilitation.

As evidence of my sincerity, and to further substantiate my following claims of injustice, I am seeking assistance for me to take a polygraph examination based on such injustice that I encountered and witnessed, not only pertaining to me, but pertaining to to incarcerated people as well. I am seeking assistance from any concerned member of society -- especial from legal professionals, law schools, community-based organizations, advocacy organizations, and faith-based organizations -- in redressing injustice suffered by incarcerated people, such as, but not limited to:

1. criminal conduct by New York State Department of Correctional Services ("NYSDOCS") personnel;

2. physical and mental mistreatment and abuse of incarcerated people (in NYSDOCS) by corrections personnel;

3. systematic biased disciplinary hearings, and biased investigations of incarcerated people's complaints about staff misconduct -- in the eyes of NYSDOCS, incarcerated people have no credibility in either disciplinary hearings or in investigations of staff misconduct; the only time incarcerated people are credible is when they are either incriminating other incarcerated people or taking a position consistent with the facility administration;

4. NYS Police's suppression and sabotage of criminal complaints made my incarcerated people about criminal offenses committed by NYSDOCS personnel;

5. unsafe drinking and bathing water used my incarcerated people in correctional facilities from which residents have contracted serious water-borne illnesses;

6. violation of NYS Corrections Law regarding the use of labor of incarcerated people.

Thank you for spending time with me. I encourage you to act on your concern about justice being denied to incarcerated people. Become involved in my righteous battle against injustice, even just to reach out and share your thoughts with me. You will not regret your decision. I look forward to hearing from you!
