As I reach out from behind these walls I hope to find someone's hand in friendship. I have spent enough time dwelling on my situation and it's time for me to move forward. I have begun to make a lot of positive changes in my life, including getting involved in several programs offered here at this facility.

I currently serve as a mentor for the Human Development program. It is a program designed to get guys to change their behavior and be more conscience of their thinking. I also mentor some of the teenagers and first time offenders here within the facility to encourage them to make better decisions in their lives and to do the right think because it's the right think to do. I'm also a member of the "Jaycees": and serve as a Director within the organization. The thing I'm most proud of is I will soon be starting college, through a correspondence course, seeking my Degree in Criminal Justice.

These are just some of the things I participate in, in an effort to improve my quality of life and give back to the community in which I live. I am a financially secure individual not seeking to be a burden to anyone in any way. I'm just in search of genuine friendship and correspondence.
