Need Legal Assistance

As a result of a car accident I was wrongfully convicted of murder and other serious charges. The facts in my case show the prosecutor prevailed in this conviction without being able to substantiate I acted with depraved indifference to human life.

The circumstances of my case are as follows.

I. On July 12, 1998 I was involved in an automobile accident at the intersection of Richmond Avenue and Victory Blvd. in Richmond County, NY. The car I was driving collided with a white Oldsmobile carrying two passengers and a driver. I and the three occupants of the Oldsmobile sustained serious injuries. Consequently, the rear seat passenger in the Oldsmobile succumbed to her injuries.

II. The claim against me is that I passed a red traffic light at 65 miles per hour and crossed double yellow lines to advance into an intersection.

III. Despite testimony from two of the prosecution's witnesses that I did not cross the double yellow lines and an expert witness giving me 22 seconds of green light while other cars at the intersection had a red light, I was found guilty and sentenced to 15 years to life.

IV. There are no drug or alcohol claims against me in this case.

There are other salient issues in this case that support my assertion of a wrongful conviction. I am happy to share these with anyone that is willing and able to help me. I am primarily seeking legal professional help with respect to my wrongful and, as the facts show, unsubstantiated conviction.

Thank you for your consideration in reading this.

Sincerely,
David Gonzalez
