Hi, my name's Andre.
Friends call me Dr even the District Attorney called me Dre, and believe me he's not my friend. I'm 44 year old, Puerto Rican, born and bred in the city of New York in the County of Da Bronx.
I'm legally married, but separated since 2005 from my wife Jennifer who I consider my friend. I have a beautiful daughter named Alexis whom I love and miss very much.
I was accused of a double homicide which I had nothing to do with, and I wanted my day in Court which took 3-1/2 years to go to trial. I was found guilty by a Jury and sentenced to 50 years to Life. I am currently attacking my conviction in the Appeal Process. I don't let nothing bother me, well that's not true. I don't like when they serve Mac & Cheese in the mess hall, because they don't make it good like in the dirty South where I moved to in 1999.
Otherwise I'm easy going and laid back. I spend my day reading, writing, learning and exercising. I do my best to get the most out of my 24 hours as they come. I don't complain or whine because I'm too busy living my life and keeping a smile on my face.
I'm interested in friendship to share my experience with, and to listen to other's experiences because believe me it's not that bad.
