Greetings! Let me take this time out and sincerely thank you for reading my ad when there are so many other ads to choose from. This is a golden opportunity for me to express myself, my life, my sights and my thoughts as an individual to a listening ear to someone beyond the wall willing to take my ad into consideration and possibly drop me a few lines. My name is Ronald R. Brown, but you can call me Rasheen. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York under a loving, caring and supportive family who wanted the best for me but unfortunately I was led astray and lived my life in the fast lane. I have endured a lot of pain and adversity over the years and have grown so much stronger and wiser. Unfortunately, life has its ups and downs and the pitfalls of society brings us down sometimes. Everyone has their own struggle but we have to learn from it, get stronger and move one. I consider myself a thoughtful, respectful, considerate and generous human being with a good heart and sense of humor. I treat people how I like to be treated. I don't blame society for my incarceration despite the pitfalls and obstacles that get in your way sometimes. I blame myself. I truly do have love for all my people out there: mothers, daughters, grandmothers, working people, as well as homeless people, drug addicts and gay people. As long as you have a good heart is what counts. I've been on the street and society took care of me. That's how I become so generous and like to help people; mostly the needy - not the greedy. In here I write poetry about my life, read the New York Post, cook, listen to music (all kinds), like Cyclone by T-Pain, Take you There by Kingston, House music, R & B, Freestyle and Classic Rock, etc. I go to programs during the day, and church, and I like to play chess, etc. I enjoy the New York City nightlife - going to clubs, the movies, shopping or out to dinner somewhere. Particularly in the West Village, Times Square of the Chelsea area of Manhattan. Some of the clubs I've been to are Stone Wall, Pieces, Hanger and ChiChi's. I seek someone who has some of the same things in common. I'm liberal and I don't discriminate. I live an alternative lifestyle and seek someone who wants that in a man for friendship, possible relationship. My kind of girl. I lived an adventurous lifestyle but like I said, I've had my ups and downs. Some of my favorite television programs are Bad Girls and Hell Date. Not a sports fanatic but I enjoy video games, long walks, hanging out during leisure time and having fun. I plan to have my poetry published one day and maybe have my life documented, and put on a DVD for organizations with life skills programs to be utilized for their members. I will continue to help people on the street with money and food when I get out. I seek someone with a different background or nationality but with the same things in common. Opposites attract. Someone who knows what it is to go through a struggle - in the street, prison or with drugs. Someone to talk with, share thoughts, strengths, experiences, hopes and dreams with. Inspire each other. Build off of each other's strengths. Uplift each other. Someone who has been there and done it and has an understanding. Someone to be there when no one else is around or when it seems like the world is coming down to you. A shoulder to lean on and someone to cry with. Someone who is free in spirit, older in age but youthful and energetic. A social drinker. Who knows how to party hard. Outgoing, down to earth, open minded, adventurous - likes thrills and lives on the edge a little, but with a genuine love and concern for humanity. I'm not a macho bad boy or thug type and I don't live up to any type of status or try to impress anyone. I'm a humble individual with a peace of mind, so don't compare me to anyone. I am financially stable and not looking for financial support. Only a good, true meaningful friendship. So give a brother a chance. I could jump up and dance. I'll keep it honest with you. Feel me when I speak? Let's get to know each other. Give a brother a play. To get a letter from you is what I hope and I pray. Sincerely, *** Seeks Correspondence with: Female Only *** > New York State Prisoners are anxious to receive letters ... Click Below to Send Letter or
