As my photos suggests I am a practicing Muslim. Originally I was born in New Jersey and raised between there and the DC area. I grew up an army brat so I’ve lived in several locations across the US.

Although I am incarcerated I live a busy life. I am the Imam at this facility so I often give the Friday sermons and teach weekly classes in the mosque. Also, I work in the Law Library as a paralegal. Thus, I am continuously engaged in a struggle for my own freedom as well as those around me who are in need of assistance.

I am seeking a female friend with potentially lasting implications. Honestly, I am recovering from a situation that challenged my heart’s endurance in a manner I never thought was possible. So I apologize in advance for using you to help with my healing process. Then again, isn’t that what friends are for?...

I won’t limit myself by saying what exactly I am looking for in a woman. I’ve come to learn that what we want and what we need are not always in perfect harmony. I’ve also been in a situation where I wanted one thing but got exactly what I needed at that particular time. Then, ironically once my needs began to be fulfilled what I thought I wanted became irrelevant.

In conclusion, I look forward to a positive, emotionally stabilizing, and intellectually stimulating correspondence. In return, I promise a truly unique and refreshing personality.
